after going through a painful divorce from a 27 year marriage, a few friends and i took a trip to israel. during the trip, i looked down and saw a stone in the shape of a heart that looked like a jeweler had hammered. when i picked up the stone, the Lord
brought to my remembrance:

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

Ezekiel 36:26

the Lord healed me. i wish i could say i forgave instantly, but while seeking God, He healed and restored me.

i know i did not go through my divorce in vain. as painful as the separation was, i realized how blessed i was to come through without financial burdens.
